Before i wrote this post, i had analyze the chances of me getting kicked out of the Digg Community, it could not have come so fast and even if it will, the impact is not great since i have never been a true supporter to the Digg Community and also i had never receive a blowing traffic impact created by the Digg Rush Hour.

In fact, it was Stumbleupon that drove me multiple traffic constantly which seems to be safer and more targeted in some sense, the reason why i said it was much safer was because it does not crash one's bandwidth unless you have a high power stable server to back you up otherwise Diggers will continous crash your server and it might destroy your blog overnight. That is the reason why i hate Digg Traffic.

These are the 5 Reasons why Digg are always behind Stumbleupon in becoming the best and most friendly Social News Site:

  1. Digg Drives You Crazy
Unlike Stumbleupon which i have mention on their thoughtful mind on sparing your limited bandwidth, Diggers will just crash your server like how a hacker penetrates through your blog and bringing it down without warning you and you will be wondering, was it a mistake to submitting your post ito Digg in the first place.

  2. Digg Is Only For Geeks Who Knows Technology & Their Industrial
Look at the front page of Digg and you will be wondering why most of the post are computer related information or Industrial quick news which got to the top, so we know most of digg users are geeks and they do not like to "make money online", so submitting topics like make money online is not going to make you rich nor are they going to drive you any traffic at all.

  3. Digg Users Love You Only If You Are Part Of Them
You need to own a part of Digg, like have a Digg Button so that Digg Users can dig from your post easily and if you do not have one, chances are you will be losing a vote each time someone wants to so basically Digg Users are just pure lazy.

  4. You Need To Have More Than Just Luck And Creatively On Your Title
Digg hate title that do not give life to the whole story and if you could come up with something that could make them read your post you will be guaranteed a vote unwise you could kiss that vote goodbye.

  5. Repeated Contents are never a favourite in Digg Community
I have seen some good repeated information on stumbling and i will still read on the post, because the content is written in another way that got me reading but Digg Users are different, they hate those who repeats what was written before and will simply just bury the post to it's grave.
Don't you think these 5 reasons are good enough to give verdict to why Stumbleupon should win This Social Rat Race and be crowned the most friendly and effective traffic targeted social news site?

If there is another reason why Digg just sucks is that they are not not able to hear from the people's views.

On the same term, i feel Digg is not going to drive you good traffic if you were to post something made for Digg.

The crazy traffic crashed my blog before and i am still feeling the impact rite now after days and it is troublesome since my readers all left when my bandwidth is max.

We are on the same line here and I do agree that StmbleUpon is definitely better than Digg.

With the topic I am currently writing (blogging tips), I guess I shouldn't be commenting too much on Digg since my topic is not included in the social media site. However, I have seen blogs going into a server dispute just because of the come and go traffic by Digg...

Yeah digg certainly seems on the outs for traffic generation and not nearly as effective. Those that do good with it seem to get the auto-bury or banned button pretty fast.

SU is nice in that it has a much wider audience than just techie type news.

I guess "the Digg community" will never do this. I think so...

I am a newbie and don't know anything about "digg" so before passing any comment let me know it.

Digg.com is on of the most reliable social bookmarking web site where you can put on your articles and stories as well and if your article get popular out there then you will be finding more and more traffic to your website.

Today, i heard a news that digg has removed the shout feature. I think this is a very good decision digg has taken, it will prevent their system from the spam shout messages. Many diggers were coming up on the front page using the shout feature and asking friends for dugg. Atleast now only those submissions will get duggs which has potential in them and good content to attract the visitors.
